Born and raised in Grant County, Shannon Durfee is a community leader, business owner, school board director, and advocate for rural families, responsible growth, and protecting the values that make Grant County strong.

  • School Board Director for Quincy School District, helping oversee policy, budgets, and decisions that impact local students, families, and taxpayers

  • Public Relations Director / Communications Professional with extensive experience in public messaging, crisis communication, media relations, and community engagement

  • Former Washington State Patrol Communications Officer, with 10 years of high-pressure public safety experience supporting law enforcement and emergency response

  • Leadership experience managing teams, staffing operations, employee training, scheduling, policy implementation, and organizational accountability

  • Experienced in budgeting, administration, project coordination, and strategic planning
